Art Club is selling melted glass bottles for the holidays in a $20 gift box that includes trail mix, crackers, cheese whiz and candy goodies! After you eat the goodies, you can reuse the melted bottles as a snack platter at parties. They also make decorative wall hangings. The bottle colors are olive green, deep blue and clear.

 The proceeds from sales will help fund a club trip in the Spring to visit Wichita art galleries!

 They will be sold during an Art Open House on December 10th at the Colby Community College Cultural Arts Center.

We'll discuss ideas and business, officially, on the Facebook board. Contact an officer to join the group!

We have a lot of work to do on the Mural. Members should help paint at least once a week. The group times for painting are Tuesday at 3:00 and Thursdays at 3:30.

We're going on a trip to a moving sculpture museum on March 12th! It's called the Boyer Museum of Animated Objects, at Belleville, KS. We'll make stops along the way to take photos of interesting sites, as well.

  Something to fund this trip would be to paint the windows of businesses around town, advertisements for their businesses. We'll need to figure out what we will charge for this service.

In September, several members of the AC participated in PuddleDuck Preschool Homecoming Parade where they painted the faces of preschoolers with Eagle tracks in support of the Colby high school's sports team, the Eagles.
